UPDATE: Two Bodies In Target Parking Determined A Murder-Suicide Case
The two bodies that were found in the Wesley Chapel Target parking lot Thursday evening have been identified and the case has been officially described as a murder-suicide.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), the bodies discovered in the vehicle are those of Armando Troconis, 65, of Holiday, and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Behrens, 59, of Tampa.
Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco says that both were separated from their spouses, but Behrens told Troconis that she was planning to return to her husband. However, the timeframe for when she told him her decision is still unclear and detectives have not yet determined whether she told him before or after arriving in the Target Parking lot.
The case is still under investigation, but PCSO detectives believe that Troconis shot Behrens in her car and then turned the gun on himself.
In the PCSO report, the department says that it received a call around 7:48 p.m. August 9 the bodies of a man and woman were discovered dead inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Target in Wesley Chapel, located at 1201 Bruce B. Downs (BBD) Blvd.
