Pasco School Board Town Hall Meeting
Pasco County schools are facing some serious budget cuts for the upcoming school year, and they need the public’s input.
The Pasco School Board invites the public to come out to a town hall meeting on Monday, May 21 in the cafeteria of Dr. John Long Middle School in Wesley Chapel to discuss the fifth consecutive year of multi-million dollar budget cuts. This year, the budget will be another $25 million smaller than last year and the Board is open to feedback from the community on how to deal with the significant cuts.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by District 2 Board member Joanne Hurley.
